Dear Friends of learning!
‘Mind always rules over matter’

The above line has always infatuated ever since my college days. I am a socially bent towards humanity. Service to the people, by educating their children is in my family ethos. I am proud to belong to the farming community which has inspired me to fulfill my ultimate duty to my motherland – ’Seva Parmo Dharma’.

My Ethos and Mission: I have devoted every moment of every day, and every element of my body and spirit earnestly, in promoting learning with fullest sincerity, honesty, hard work and devotion.

My dream school : I started Akshara International School at a time when professionalism in schools was waning. Unabated neglect of students, and indecisiveness in implementing the school curriculum had paralyzed the educational area in Maddur taluk and its surrounding region.

My dream school : I started Akshara International School at a time when professionalism in schools was waning. Unabated neglect of students, and indecisiveness in implementing the school curriculum had paralyzed the educational area in Maddur taluk and its surrounding region. Parents had been left helpless against ever declining teaching standards. I strongly felt that there should be an urgent and decisive action to improve the quality of learning in Kowdle, which happens to be my birth place and also a place for which I hold a great deal of esteem, reverence and devotion.

Akshara International School

Akshara International Public School is nestled between two great rivers, river Shimsha and river Cauvery, This pristine location offers a serene environment for learning. The school infrastructure is set on a total campus area of 2.0 acres. The school is located at a very strategic point. It is 100 kms from Bengaluru,30.kms from Maddur, 25.kms from Nagamangala and 30..kms from Mandya. Although the school is located in a rural region it has a wide range of facilities that are available to young learners which include a well equipped state of the art computer lab, independent labs for science and math. It has well stocked library, a sound proof air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity for 150 persons. The classrooms are spacious, furnished and well ventilated for pursuing co scholastic and co- curricular activities. The school is having a swimming pool which is having a length of 50 metres and has been designed as per Olympic standards.

The school has adopted CBSE curriculum which is diversed and specialised. The teachers are trained by CBSE experts to help children to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. Emphasis on Curriculum development and design is a permanent feature of our school. The teaching faculty comprises of highly qualified experienced and motivated trained personnel. We offer two exciting early years of schooling for ebullient tots by trained teachers drawn from various parts of the country. Although Akshara is located in a rural area, it is committed to infuse modern technology into the curriculum from primary years onwards. It is a matter of great pride that CBSE New Delhi has recognized Akshara to be a model school for the implementation of NEP.

Founder's Message

Education is a debated subject all over the world, by the various stakeholders, educationists, education administrators, teachers, parents and all others concerned with education. Has anybody thought about the rural areas? There has been large scale migration to big cities in search of employment and good education. The objective of the whole education system is to lay the foundation in the rural areas for future growth and adaptation to new situations.

Best skills can be found in our villages and we need to transform their lives. As a doctor, I was able to grasp a child’s nature. I feel that a school should be like a home which is a historic place of learning. I felt that by building a school in a remote place I would be able to cater to the social needs of the less privileged humanity. I have kept in mind the need for specialized learning in a school that is close to one's home.
