Classrooms

Classrooms at Akshara are well resourced and spacious. They are designed in such a way that each student gets the teacher’s maximum individualized attention. Students are encouraged to decorate their classrooms and display their creative work on the boards.

Computer Laboratory

The computer laboratory has over a 30 computers with a dedicated broadband Internet connection for students. Student usage of media and technology are monitored and supervised by teachers.

The Science Laboratory

The science laboratory provides a space for experiential and hands on learning for students. There are separate workstations for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There is also a designated ‘Junior Laboratory’ for middle school students.

The Library

The library is the main resource centre for students and can accommodate over 50 students at a time. Students have access to a vast collection of fiction and non-fiction books, reference books, academic journals, periodicals, magazines, newspapers and textbooks.

Math Lab

Here, students have the opportunity to see theories come alive and have fun with numbers. The lab creates a challenging atmosphere for students to put their mathematical abilities to test and enhances their analytical reasoning and lateral thinking through various games and activities.

The Auditorium

A fully equipped air conditioned and sound proof auditorium allows students to produce plays and performances with the best acoustics and light system. Small group events for students and parents are also held here. The auditorium is having a giant digital board to facilitate 21st century learning.

Swimming Pool

The school offers to all students a swimming pool built as per Olympic standards as part of its sports facilities. The pool is designed to be safe and engaging environments for students of all ages to learn and excel in swimming. The schools often employ certified instructors and prioritize safety and skill development. The water is drained out a regular intervals and quality of water is as per the Olympic standards. CBSE South Zone Swimming Competition was conducted at our school. The participated in this competition found the swimming pool to be safe and hygienic.
